The goal of this space to to create a regulatory space for connection and support.
These guidelines are in place to provide a welcoming and accessible space.
Be kind.
No hate speech or trolling will be tolerated.
This includes racial slurs and negative stereotyping of any kind.
This is an LGBTQIA+ affirming space. 🏳️🌈 🏳️⚧️
If we had a brick and mortar we’d be flying a pride flag.
Please behave appropriately. Be respectful of pronouns and gender identities.
This is a neurodiversity affirming space.
Harmful terms and stereotypes should not be unpacked here due to the associated trauma some members may have. These include, but are not limited to terms like: Aspergers, HSP, “low functioning / high functioning” labels, ABA therapy, etc.
This is a no news space.
The Neuro Nest is a space to connect through shared interests and creative expression. This is not the space to discuss breaking news or current events. Advocacy and organizing is important work, but should take place elsewhere.

When tools like transcription tools are used a concerted effort will be made to proofread for accuracy.
Avoid triggering topics.
We all deserve a space we can connect without endangering our nervous systems. These boundaries exist to protect our energetic capacity and safeguard members with related trauma.
If your post needs a content warning it is not appropriate to post.
This includes but is not limited to:

- Suicidal Themes
- Body Shaming
- Weight Loss Culture
- News Headlines
- Religion, Deconstruction, or Religious Trauma
