Beyond Beautiful. Thank you, so very much for sharing your thoughts, time, life and writing. I’m so excited to watch you and your husband and your family grow and continue blooming. Huzzah!
I so appreciate you sharing your story 💗 I recently discovered that I am neurodivergent (ADHD) and have wondered if I’m autistic as well. I’ve definitely masked my differences my whole life (I’m 62) and want to reach the place of acceptance where I am comfortable sharing all of me. Your sharing helps me understand myself better and provides an example. Blessings to you and your family 💗
I’m so glad to hear that Laurie. After a lifetime of framing neurodivergent traits as flaws it can be so powerful to reframe it all. There are so many strengths as well!
Yes!!! Our 5 year old grandson was diagnosed autistic about a year ago and is PDA (which isn’t recognized in the US). Learning about him and how to support him has opened my eyes to my own differences 🤯 He is funny, social, and has MANY strengths, and we definitely focus on his strengths. We would all be better off if we focused on our strengths, right? I appreciate you and am sure I will continue to grow as I follow your journey 💗
It’s a shame the evaluation process doesn’t consider strengths more so I always try to bring it up. Thanks for your comments. Knowing my writing and videos reach people motivates me to continue sharing. It’s so nice to find kindred spirits after years of feeling different. 💕
