It feels like a lesson I keep returning to. I so easily get tunnel vision, but there are so many options when you engage with curiosity. I want to foster that mindset of experimentation over my innate drive for perfection. 🔬
I've added your second Stack to my Feedly - an old school style blog should be read in an old school style feed reader! I've been musing over the different voices and styles I use for Substack vs blogging too, and can't see me giving up either in a hurry!
This is what I do! I want most of my thoughts on my blog, with links in my newsletter and a synopsis. I like your keep reading button, however, and I’m going to adopt that!
What I tried to do last year was write on Substack and copy to my blog. But all the formatting took ages and it was such a pain I found it hard to keep up with. If I write on Squarespace and copy to Substack very few changes need to be made. Who’d have thought? 🤷
I started my substack yesterday and it is an experiment in constraint (as a limited series) and because I'm going to experiment with form along the way. I'm excited to see where it takes me.
Love the spirit of experimentation.

I love that! They are two different beasts!

Love a button! One of the things Substack makes easy. 💫
I am REALLY stuck about what to do on my blog because my website didn’t have one for a while so everything was here but now it does!

Oh excellent! I copied from SS to my blog and the formatting took seconds to fix - what a relief!! But few people say that’s not good for SEO!
I’m not bothered about SEO. I just want an archive of my posts that I own. Google results are full of so much spam anymore. 🤷
You could try posting a teaser there and link here to read more? It’s all about what your goals are and where you want people to end up.

Love having some company in experimentation. Have fun! 🔬⚡️
